HOW HAD THEY HIJACKED THE US CONSTITUTION?

Rationale: Ilang nausab ang goberno sa Amerika. (The had changed the governmnet of the USA). Inay a government for the people, nahimong a government of the corporate state. (Instead of being a government for the people, it has become a government by and of the corporate state). Here is the explanation how it happened. Read the article. It has to do with people sleeping or allowing themselves to get entertained while the thieves and the murderers or arsonists broke their house (nation, community, homes, families, bodies, etc.). Yes. The Constitution is meant to be the republic's guarantee of certain inalienable rights for each individual.

But those rights are subject to interpretation by the Supreme Court. The composition of the Supreme Court increasingly reflects the interests of corporate oligarchs as its members are nominated and confirmed by politicians who have been bought and paid for by those same corporate oligarchs.


How? Via big-money propaganda campaigns for candidates that they carefully choose ahead of time.


And how did such big money come to rule the day? Through the Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court giving corporations a much larger "voice" than individual citizens.


The vicious circle is now complete. The country and it's democracy (such as it was) has been captured.


In my opinion, the only viable way to break the circle is through mass demonstrations of non-violent civil disobedience. THAT should be the work of the millennials.


What are the chances? What are the chances that a divided and conquered citizenry will set aside their bickering and stand, in sufficient numbers, in the streets, in solidarity?


Let me put it this way: I'm not holding my breath.
